SARA'S BIO

Sara Bartlett brings over a decade of experience in communications, operations, and nonprofit leadership to her role as Assistant Executive Director of the Whistler Independent Supported Housing Society (WISH). With more than four years supporting nonprofit governance and fund development, Sara has worked closely with Executive Directors, Boards, and funders to strengthen organizational systems, secure multi-year funding, and advance strategic priorities.

Most recently, Sara has managed grant development and reporting processes, implemented tracking systems to improve compliance and efficiency, and supported cross-departmental planning to ensure accountability and impact.

 Her background in digital communications, donor engagement, and event coordination enhances WISH’s ability to connect meaningfully with community members and supporters.

Sara also serves on the Board of Directors of Tourism Pemberton and is actively engaged in professional development, including studies in nonprofit management and sector leadership.

With a collaborative leadership style rooted in transparency and care, Sara is committed to strengthening WISH’s governance, fundraising capacity, and long-term sustainability as the organization moves toward opening its supported housing community in 2028 and beyond.

SUE'S BIO

A proud B.C. native, Sue has worked in the non-profit sector since 2010, with a focus on family advocacy and inclusive community and sport development. She brings extensive experience in building partnerships and leading initiatives that support individuals with diverse abilities. Sue’s goals for WISH include creating long-term, sustainable housing solutions that promote dignity, independence, and belonging. She is committed to growing strong local partnerships and raising awareness around the critical need for support for persons with disabilities in Whistler. Sue lives in Whistler with her family and is deeply connected to the community. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, biking, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

GREG'S BIO

Greg has lived in Whistler for over 50 years and witnessed its evolution from a small ski town to a world-renowned mountain resort. With deep roots in the community and a successful background in both the restaurant and real estate sectors, Greg brings a wealth of local knowledge and connections to his role at WISH.
He joined WISH as a founding member to help address the pressing need for long-term, accessible, and supported housing for adults with developmental disabilities. Greg is committed to helping build the systems and partnerships needed to realize this vision and ensure that all community members have a place to call home.
A passionate advocate for the Whistler lifestyle, Greg enjoys year-round physical and social activities and values the vibrant, inclusive spirit that makes the town so unique.

TAMA-LYNN'S BIO

Tama-Lynn brings a deep personal commitment to inclusive housing through her role on the WISH board. As a mother of an adult son with developmental disabilities, she contributes valuable lived experience and heartfelt perspective to WISH’s mission.
Her career includes establishing a Whistler branch of Glen Eden School, which specializes in students with complex special needs, as well as founding and operating a successful vacation rental management business. With additional experience as a flight attendant and in real estate brokerage management, Tama-Lynn offers strong skills in communication, organization, and community engagement.
She is passionate about helping create homes where adults of all abilities can live with dignity, choice, and connection. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, hiking with her dog, and spending time with family in the mountain town she proudly calls home.

Jill brings financial stewardship and a community-focused mindset to her role as Treasurer of WISH. With years of experience in real estate and business operations, she is committed to supporting the development of sustainable, inclusive housing solutions in Whistler.
As a parent of a child with developmental disabilities, Jill shares in the founding vision of WISH—to secure long-term, supported housing that meets the needs of individuals in our community. Her goal is to help ensure that the organization remains financially sound while advancing its mission of dignity and independence for all.
Jill enjoys the active lifestyle Whistler offers and can often be found skiing, hiking, and enjoying time outdoors with her family.

Sheri Glover

SHERI'S BIO

Originally from Ontario, Sheri moved to B.C. nearly 20 years ago and quickly became a deeply respected leader in the province’s nonprofit and family enterprise sectors. Her career spans senior leadership roles in both Toronto and Vancouver, as well as serving as the head of a single-family office in the B.C. Interior—work that strengthened her reputation as a trusted advisor with a steady hand and sharp strategic insight.

Sheri is known for her dynamic energy, collaborative leadership style, and governance expertise. She brings extensive experience in board governance, family governance, and family foundations, and has built a career helping diverse stakeholders find common ground and chart a clear path forward on complex issues.

She is thrilled to join the WISH Board and is deeply committed to ensuring that people in the Whistler community who are developmentally disabled have access to supportive housing where they can live, work, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains they call home.

Outside of her professional life, Sheri can be found exploring the outdoors with her dog or riding her gravel bike in Whistler.
